Lift, lower and transport payloads from 1500 to 5000 pounds quickly, safely and with minimum effort. Portelvator provides unique versatility in handling tools, dies, fixtures and molds as well as subassemblies, palletized tooling and production materials.
Portelvators are widely used by a variety of industries to meet
their constantly changing material handling needs. From our
smallest standard model to special high capacity designs,
Portelvator provides cost efficient solutions. In many cases,
automation principles can be economically applied to meet specific
requirements. Portelvators not only lift, lower and transport,
they can be arranged to transfer the load on and off the table as
well.
Two-Speed Synchronized Elevation
Each of the four elevating screws are synchronously driven through acme nuts by a worm-gear transmission. Positive mechanical power applied at each of the elevating points assures uniform table elevation without deflection even under offset load conditions.
The four-point load support distributes the weight evenly onto the wheels for maximum stability during transport. Portelvator handles the heaviest loads safely and easily during all phases of operation.
Individual high and low speed drive shafts increase elevating efficiency.
Hand crank operated, the low gear ratio is used for heavy loads and fine positioning. The higher ratio is used for elevating lighter loads at faster speeds. A mechanical lock maintains the top at the elevated position.
Side operation is standard on all models. However, end operation is available without extra cost. The all steel welded construction maintains rigidity and strength even under maximum loading. Sleeves for the elevating screws are located at the table corners directing load forces in a straight line to the floor.
